The 9th International conference on Semantic Web Applications and Tools for Life Sciences brings together researchers, developers, and users, from many fields to discuss goals, current limits and real experiences in the use of Semantic Web technologies in health care and the life sciences.
The four-day event will comprise a tutorials day (5th), main conference (6th and 7th), and a Hackathon day (8th).
A PERICLES paper covering the use of the machine learning tool Somoclu in the medical domain has been accepted and will be presented by Maria Tsagiopoulou from project partner CERTH/ITI.
